UPIA Membership

  • The Association shall admit Ordinary, Honorary, Associate, Affiliated, Institutional, and Corporate members from the following categories. However, membership is subject to the final approval of the Central Executive Committee (CEC).

    • Any company or firm engaged in manufacturing, processing, assembling, or other industrial activities, including products or commodities used by the general public or industries in India or abroad.

    • Any company, firm, or individual providing services such as consultancy or other professional services.

    • Individuals, organizations, or associations involved in promoting industrial activities or services, whether in the private or public sector, subject to prior approval by the CEC during a regular meeting.

    • The CEC may also enroll individuals who, in its opinion, have contributed or are capable of contributing to the objectives of the Association. Such membership will automatically terminate on June 30th following the date of nomination, unless the CEC, by resolution, chooses to extend the membership for the following year.

    • The CEC is also authorized to enroll life members and patrons of the Association.

    Free Monthly News Magazine:
    Members receive UPIA’s monthly news magazine, packed with valuable information on MSMEs. It is distributed to over 21,000 MSMEs and available both in print and online.

    Exclusive Member Offers:
    UPIA has negotiated exclusive discounts for members through the "UPIA Privilege Card" and partnerships with reputed organizations.

    Additional Member Benefits:
    UPIA organizes international trade visits and negotiates corporate offers for industrial products and materials, maximizing opportunities for members.

    Certificate of Origin for Exporters:
    Authorized by the Director General of Foreign Trade, UPIA offers Certificates of Origin (Non-preferential) to its members at concessional rates.
